(Siasat News)In his first presidential speech, Mukherjee (76) spoke the topic of terrorism. He termed fighting with terrorism as fourth world war.
Mukherjee who was also the finance minister said that there is a needs to rethink on developmental policies as economic reforms alone won’t eliminate poverty in the country.
“For the development, the poorest of our land must feel that they are also a part of the rising India”
We must uplift those from the bottom so that the poverty is erased from India.
Recalling the dark days of Bengal when he was child he said, “There is no humiliation more abusive than hunger.”
Mukherjee added he is proud of the valor and steely determination of the armed forces, as they have fought this menace on our borders.
He picked the topic of terrorism in his first presidential speech it seems that he is much interested to erase terrorism and he termed terrorism as forth world war that need to fight by the world to eradicate terrorism.
