President Majlis Bachao Tahreek Dr. Khayam Khan passes away at Yashoda hospital in Hyderabad today.
He was admitted following massive cardiac arrest.
Dr. Khayam Khan, a MBBS graduate from Kashmir University, was the eldest son of Amanullah Khan who founded Majlis Bacho Tehreek (Save Majlis Movement) in 1992 after breaking from Majlis-e-Itehadul Muslimeen due to soft stand of the party on Babri Masjid demolition and nepotism.
He was taken the charge of party president in July 2013 weeks after the sudden demise of former president Advocate Adam Malik due to heart attack. Adam Malik was the president of the party for nearly ten years after the death of party founder Amanullah Khan sahab in 2002.
Dr. Khayam Khan was last seen Yesterday in a prize distribution function organised by Apollo where his son Dr. Nehad Khan won a bunch of Gold medals in MBBS.
Details of Namaz-e-Janaza and burial awaited.
