Hyderabad, July 05: The President, Ms Pratibha Patil, on Sunday was accorded a warm welcome at the Begumpet airport on her arrival to the State to attend a government programme.
Ms Pratibha Patil landed at the Begumpet airport at 2.10 pm in a special flight. The Chief Minister, Mr K Rosaiah, and the Governor, Mr E S L Narasimhan, presented bouquets and welcomed her.
The Assembly Speaker, Mr N Kiran Kumar Reddy, the Council Chairman, Dr A Chakrapani, the ministers, Ms P Sabitha Indra Reddy, Mr Danam Nagender, Mr Vishwaroop, Dr J Geetha Reddy, Mr D Sridhar Babu, Ms Sunitha Laxma Reddy, Mr Shathrucharla Vijayarama Rao and Ms D K Aruna, the GHMC Mayor, Ms Banda Karthika Reddy, the MP, Mr Sarve Satyanarayana were among those who received the President.
