The weekly Minority Grievance Cell for redressal of grievances pertaining to Minority Welfare institutions was held on Monday at Hajj House. A large number of people complained against officials of Minority Finance Corporation saying that the scholarship and fee-reimbursement amount of the last year has not been received yet, as a result students face various problems in educational institutions. Minority Finance Corporation officials told that the government recently released Rs. 185 crore and after completion of the necessary procedure the amount will be deposited in students’ accounts within 3 days.
Secretary/director Urdu Academy Prof. S A Shukoor, Executive Officer Hajj Committee M A Hameed, Managing Director Christian Finance Corporation Vilayat Husain and Waqf Board officials listened to the public compliant in the grievance cell.
