Speaking on the third and final day of the Seminar entitled ‘Secularism and National integrity’ organized by the All India Students’ Federation, the social activist Prof. Ram Puniyani exhorted the leaders of AISF to brace themselves up to combat the menace of communalism faced by the country. He stated that it was the communist parties who first raised their voice against communalism and dictatorship hence they had to face the opposition of communal forces. He told that the country still has a threat of Hindu Rashtriya. Hindutva forces make false propagandas against those who oppose their ideologies and try to generate hatred by spreading rumours against their opponents. Mr. Ram Puniyani added that the RSS activists term Muslims, Christians and Communists the enemies of the country.
Addressing the seminar renowned journalists Mr. Jawed Aalam asserted that the preservation of democratic system is inevitable to curb communalism.
