Hyderabad, September 28: The present movements are showing interest in promoting the family members. Lack of honesty has made the cause of the movement meaningless. These thoughts were expressed by Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor Siasat & Trustee Konda Lakshman Bapuji Universal Foundation on the occasion of the 97th birthday celebrations of Konda Lakshman Bapuji.
In his presidential remarks, Mr. Zahid Ali Khan said that lack of honesty and sincerity has lessened the impact of the movement. He expressed his best wishes for Konda Lakshman Bapuji’s birthday and hoped that by his next birthday will be celebrated in Telangana state. He said that during the past two years unprecedented seams have come to light. Praising Bapuji, he said that he is less worried about this kith and kin and more worried about the nation.
Leaders like him are being given importance these days. He said that Konda Lakshman Bapuji is like a flower in the bouquet. He felt the need for Hindu Muslim unity in the present days. He hoped that Hindu-Muslim unity can become a universal force which lead the country towards progress.
He applauded the services of Bapuji’s Foundation. Deploring the present political structure, Mr. Zahid Ali Khan said that the leader is known not by his services but by the scams in which he is involved. The bigger the scam, the taller is the leader. He lamented on the illegal possessions of Wakf properties and their deterioration. He hoped that Bapuji’s dream of a Telangana state is going to be fulfilled very soon.
He released the biography of Bapuji and occasion were V.C. of Kakatiya university and others.
