Hyderabad: Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma today directed that a draft plan of proposals for adjusting the existing staff of SP offices to the new ones to come up at the earliest. “Steps should be made for setting up new SP offices in districts with short term and long term plans. He conducted a Task Force Committee review meeting for adjustment of staff among the SP offices to be set up with Home and Labour departments’ officials at Secretariat here.
A special officer should be appointed for coordination with General Administration and Good Governance wings for speeding up the process, he said. The chief secretary stated that the SP offices to be set up should get all facilities, furniture, equipment and staff avoiding inconvenience to the administration. He also directed that the staff details be uploaded to the website of good governance with complete details.
The chief secretary sought the proposals be prepared to enable the government to take necessary steps for speeding up the process. The existing staff is to be adjusted with the new SP offices in the wake of new districts to be effective from Dasara festival. Instant measures are to be taken for setting up police department offices, shifting of staff and files, making photo copies and related works. (NSS)
