Prepare confidential reports of judicial officers: SC

New Delhi, July 14: The Supreme Court has slammed the Karnataka High Court for not preparing the confidential reports of severa judicial officers in the state.

A Bench of Justices B S Chauhan and Swatanter Kumar in a judgement directed the High Court and the state police to ensure that the annual confidential reports are prepared at the time of considering the promotion of the judicial officers.

“With some regret and anxiety, we must notice that for all the remaining years no confidential report of this officer, and in fact, of many others as the record now reflects, have been recorded by the High Court.
