Minority Finance Corporation has released Rs. 53.43 crore rupees so far towards Pre-matric, Post-matric and Merit-cum-means Scholarship provided by the Central Government for the year 2013-14. The amount was distributed among 205072 students. Thus release of amount for Central Government scholarship has been expedited.
Dates have been announced in connection with the submission of applications for central government scholarship for the academic year 2014-15. Online submission of fresh applications and for renewal has begun by the students. The last date to submit fresh and renewal forms for pre-matric scholarship is September 10 while for post matric scholarship the last date to submit fresh applications is September 15 and renewal forms is October 10. For merit cum means scholarship last date to submit fresh applications is September 30 while the application for renewal can be submitted by November 15.
