In order to qualify for marriage, Riyadh-based Social Awareness and Qualification Society (Wai) conducted a Survey and it found that nearly 92.04 percent of young Saudi respondents have accentuated the need to attend pre-marital courses said local media quoting a survey.
On the other hand, nearly 5.63 percent of the young Saudi said they see no need to be present at such courses.
According to Sheikh Mazin Al-Firaih who is the supervisor of the Family Happiness Program (FHP) and family expert said that the project has launched a course dubbed as “family command license” on how to run marital relations.
The program, in cooperation with Salim bin Mahfouz Charity Foundation, is meant to provide the basics of family building principles, Mazin said.
So far about 46 training courses have been organized with 2,606 young male and female Saudis attended the program.
The courses are meant for the newly-married couples, those who are about to tie the knot, or for working staff at family consultancy centers, said family expert.
