Hyderabad: On the occasion of Mukkoti Ekadasi today, TRS senior leader and former minister T Harish Rao today had a darshan of Lord Venkateshwara at holy Tirumala hills.
Harish Rao along with his family members arrived here to worship Lord Venkateshwara on the auspicious Mukkoti Ekadashi day. The TTD officials made arrangements for darshan and accommodation for him and his family. Harish Rao spoke to Andhra Pradesh deputy chief minister KE Krishna Murty and Margadarshi MD Shailaja Kiran, who also had darshan of the lord on the occasion.
Talking to mediapersons later, Harish Rao said the TRS came to power for second consecutive term in Telangana with Lord’s blessings. “I prayed with the God to bless the KCR Government to develop and turn Telangana into a golden State”, he said, adding “With the Lord’s blessings, the TRS regime was doing well and would achieve more development in all sectors. I also prayed for speedy completion of the ongoing irrigation projects, development works and schemes in Telangana. As we retained power for second term, I came with my family to have darshan of the Lord and got His blessings. I also prayed HIM for peaceful and healthy living of the people in a peaceful atmosphere”.
Other VIPs who had darashan of Lord Venkateshwara include Governor ESL Narasimhan, Vimala Narasimhan, ISRO Chairman Shivam, Mahbubnagar MLA V Srinivas Goud, MLC Damoder Reddy, Hyderabad Mayor Bonthu Rammohan and others.
