New Delhi, February 21: The revamped Prasar Bharati Board is expected to have its first meeting by the middle of next month.
Sources in the ministry for Information and Broadcasting today said Prasar Bharati Board meeting may take place tentatively in the third week of March.
This would be the first meeting of the 10-member board after veteran journalist Mrinal Pandey took over as its chairperson earlier this month.
Apart from her, well known film maker Muzaffar Ali has also joined as a part-time member.
The last meeting of the Board was held on January 16.
According to official sources, Pandey wanted to convene the Board meeting in the first week of March. However, due to some unavoidable reasons, it may now take place by the middle of next month.
As per rules, the Prasar Bharati Board has to meet six times in a year.
