Hyderabad: Union Minister for Resource and Development Prakash Javadekar said that the motive of the Union government is to provide ‘Sabko Shiksha aur Achhi Shiksha’ hence government is planning to make reformations in educational field. Prakash Javadekar visited Musheerabad Govt. School on Saturday and inspected the facilities provided by the government.
Trying to clear apprehensions over the proposed New Education Policy (NEP) 2016, Mr. Javadekar said that it is just a draft for discussion and not a policy drafted by the Union Cabinet. He further said that the government will not tinker with Constitutional provisions and minorities rights. We are still getting suggestions, we have extended the deadline for receiving suggestions till September 15,” he said.
As HRD extended deadline for giving inputs to Draft New Educational Policy – 2016 till September 15, educationists, intellectuals and activists can send their suggestions.
Mr. Javadekar exhorted the students to become proficient in English language.
