Prajarajyam MLAs planning to cross the floor

The MLAs belonging to the disbanded Prajarajyam Party are planning to change their loyalties. Mr. Chiranjeevi had led this party and won 16 Assembly seats in the last election but later he merged his party into Congress. These MLAs have apprehensions about their gloomy future and they are trying to find an alternative. Some of them are considering joining TDP. A minister in Kiran Kumar Reddy Cabinet told that these MLAs have found out the way to join TDP. Majority of these MLAs belong to Kapu community from East and West Godavari districts. It may be noted that G. Srinivas Rao, K. Subba Rayudu, T. Murtulu, V. Geetha and Bandaru Satyanandham who had joined TDP originally belonged to Praja Rajyam Party. They have an apprehension that if they continue in Congress, there future will be ruined. They are not interested in joining YSR Congress Party since there is no compatibility on ideological plane. There are rumours that they might enter into some kind of agreement with Congress after the elections. It is therefore only one choice left for them to join TDP. They are not prepared to join any party which is supporting integrated A.P. State.
