Hyderabad, November 30: Praja Rajyam has refused to join Kiran Kumar Reddy’s new cabinet. Legislature party and political affairs committee’s separate meetings were held yesterday headed by party president Chiranjeevi. In both the meetings majority of the leaders opposed to join in the cabinet.
It should be noted that Congress high command had decided to include Praja Rajyam in the cabinet in view of the rebellious attitude of Jagan Mohan Reddy so that the government could get the support of its 18 MLAs. Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy had offered cabinet membership through a telephone call to Chiranjeevi from Delhi.
PRP leaders were already divided on this issue. On the basis of majority opinion it has been decided not to join the cabinet.
