New Delhi: BJP candidate for Bhopal Lok Sabha Constituency, Ms Pragya Singh Thakur who is also an accused in Malegaon bomb blast case was forced by BJP to tender a public apology for declaring Nathoram Godse a true patriot.
It may be mentioned that earlier during an election campaign, she had said that Godse was a patriot and those who suspect his integrity should introspect themselves.
This gave room to opposition parties to criticize BJP. Against this background, BJP distanced itself from her statement and forced her to withdraw it and tender apology publicly.
