Seoul, October 24: A generation unit at a nuclear power plant in South Korea has shut down due to signal malfunctioning, Yonhap News reported on Saturday.
One of six power generation units at the Younggwang plant, operated by Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co, had been halted since late on Friday, Yonhap reported.
It was not known when operations would resume.
Officials at Korea Hydro Nuclear Power could not be reached immediately.
