An instance of alleged power theft has come to light at a cold storage unit here with a case having been booked against its owner, police said.
According to SP (City) Sarvan Kumar, the theft was discovered yesterday by a team of vigilance department officials when they raided the unit owned by one Rashid Siddiqui, who is said to be a local Samajwadi Party leader.
The case in the matter was lodged by Vigilance Inspector Narendra Singh at Kotwali police station.
