Telangana State Power Distribution Corporation is planning to hike Power Tariff for various consumers. The present tariff structure was fixed two years ago. There was a proposal to increase power tariff with effect from 1-4-2014 but this proposal was rejected. The corporation is facing a loss of Rs. 1500 crore.
