A Fabric Buyer Seller meet cum Powerloom Products Mela was opened at TTD Kalyana Mandapam, Himayathnagar here and it will be on till December 30. A Narsing Rao, Director of Handlooms and Textiles, Telangana State, inaugurated the mela on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, Narsing Rao said the Government of India was giving Marketing support to the Power-loom fabric manufacturers inn the country under Integrated Scheme for Power-loom Sector Development. M Duraiswamy, Chairman, Power-loom Development and Export Promotion Council, said the buyer seller meets were giving good opportunity for the powerloom owners to explore new markets.
The buyer seller meet will be held from 10 am to 8 pm every day till December 30. (NSS)
