Tirunelveli (TN): Power generation at Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant’s Unit-1 has touched 350 MW since midnight yesterday after operations resumed following a 24-hour shut down for monitoring the turbine and conducting some tests.
Plant Director S Sundar told newsmen here today that the power generation slowly increased and touched 350MW midnight yesterday.
The generation would increase and reach its full capacity of 1000 MW in a few days.
Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant started commercial operations on December 31, 2014 and was shut down for maintenance from June 24 last year.
