A 45-year-old man committed suicide allegedly due to poverty and financially problems.
According to Chaderghat police, the deceased, Syed Mukhtar Ali, a cycle worker, returned to his residence in Kamala Nagar from work on Thursday and was reportedly upset over his failure to arrange food for his wife and four children. Consequently, he consumed some unknown poison. He was immediately rushed to the Osmania General Hospital where he died a few hours after admission.
In another case, P Narsing, 30, died of burns injuries which he had sustained after setting himself ablaze. Narsing, a centering worker, had resorted to the extreme step at his residence in Warisguda on April 18 and died at the Gandhi Hospital on Thursday night.
According to Chilkalguda police, Narsing was living alone since his wife left him about three years ago. A few months ago, he lost his lower limbs after falling down from height at his workplace. Upset with these development, he resorted to the extreme step. (INN)
