POTUS gives ‘free political advice to Kanye West on 2020 presidential bid

London: After Kanye West expressed his desire to run for president in 2020, Barack Obama has offered him some tips.

Speaking at a fund raiser in San Francisco, the 54-year-old 44th U.S. President, who appeared at an event to support the Democratic Hope Fund with the rapper, joked with the ‘Stronger’ hit maker about his decision to run for office, the Telegraph reports.

The first tip he gave was “deal with some guys who are strange characters, who act like they’re on a reality TV show.”

His second tip was reference to West’s 2010 album, “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, and said the rapper has a “beautiful, dark, twisted fantasy, that’s what’s known as off-message.

“You can’t say things like that. A lot of people have lost their Congressional seats saying stuff like this.” he continued

The President added, “Number three,” Do you really believe this country is going to elect as president of the United States a black guy from the South Side of Chicago with a funny name to be president of the United States.”

Earlier, in August, West expressed his desire to run for president in 2020.
