Hyderabad, October 30: A few days ahead of AP Formation Day, miscreants set fire to the statue of Potti Sriramulu on the Telugu University campus at Nampally on Friday evening.

“They brought some fuel in a bottle and one of them poured it on the statue while the other set it in ablaze. Staff raised an alarm and security staff rushed with water bottles and doused the flames within minutes,’’ registrar Prof Battu Ramesh told .
