Good news for trained teachers whose postings are pending since long time. The government is planning to offer postings to as many as hundreds of teachers trained and those of 1998, 1999, 2003 and 2008 district selection committees. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has given a nod for recruiting all the eligible trained teachers awaiting postings since a long time.
Education Minister G Jagadish Reddy revealed this to media persons at Secretariat here on Friday. He said during the meeting, he apprised the Chief Minister of the number of vacant posts and the plight of the trained teachers. The Chief Minister readily agreed to his proposal. The Chief Minister has asked the Education department to take all measures to give them postings. Soon the department will announce postings for all the trained teachers, Jagadish Reddy added. (NSS)
