Hyderabad: Posters and hoardings remain one of the most effective and powerful tools for holding political leaders accountable. Featuring the candidates and their party leaders can be seen all over the city nowadays on the streets, bus stands, walls etc.
One of such MIM president Asaduddin Owaisi, striking a ‘Dangal’ pose hoarding was seen at Madina and Afzalgunj which was pulled down by the police following complaints by the BJP Yuva Morcha.
The posters showed Mr. Owaisi in the place of Bollywood star Aamir Khan and featured BJP president Amit Shah, UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi and former UP CM Mayawati.
When asked about the poster to the MIM they said they are not aware of such thing.
