Hyderabad, January 18: A crucial meeting of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi will be held on Tuesday to decide the party’s future course of action.
The executive committee meeting will discuss the prevailing political situation in the region and the strategies to be adopted to intensify the T-movement.
This is the first meeting of the party after the Srikrishna Committee report was made public 10 days ago.
The meet will also focus on the next all-party meeting convened by Union Home Minister P Chidambaram in the last week of this month.
The TRS had boycotted the earlier all-party meeting held by the Union Home Minister.
The line of action in case of T-Congress MPs taking berths in the Union Cabinet will also be discussed.
Working with the political JAC and participating in its proposed rasta rokos in the region and other issues would also be touched upon in the meeting.
TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao has been maintaining a strategic silence since the Srikrishna Committee has submitted its report.
Recently, Rao said that T would be a reality but could be delayed by six months. This has sent some negative signals to the people. TRS leaders are likely to seek clarification on this from Rao.
