Hyderabad, May 5: Social Welfare department has sanctioned post matric scholarship for the meritorious students among SC, ST BC minorities and physically challenged for EAMCET coaching and admissions into intermediate and issued GO MS no 235 dated March 28 2011 in this regard.
As per the GO government will provide admission facility into prestigious private junior colleges to those poor students of SC ST BC and minorities who have secured more than 400 marks in SSC exam so that by appearing in JEE, AIEEE, EAMCET etc they may become eligible to take admission into prestigious medical and engineering colleges.
Rs 42 crore will be allocated for this scheme of which 21 crore rupees will be for fresh students and 21 crore rupees will be allocated for renewal of scholarships already provided.
