The last for submitting of applications for pre-matric scholarships offered by Central government to minority students has ended. While submission of applications is in progress for Post-matric and Merit-cum means scholarships. The central government has fixed the last date to submit fresh applications for post matric scholarship as October 7 while application for renewal of scholarships can be submitted by October 10. Fresh applications for merit-cum-means scholarship can be submitted by October 7 while application for renewal can be submitted on or before October 15.
Amount of scholarship offered under post-matric scholarship is Rs. 1000 to 1st to 5th class, Rs. 5000 to 6th to 10th class, Rs. 6000 to intermediate to post graduation. While the amount of scholarship offered under merit cum means is Rs. 30000 to hosteliers and Rs. 25000 to day scholars.
