Positive impacts on American Business and Economic Relations

Consul General of America, M.S. Catherine Dhanani said that the business and economic relations of India and America would continue to grow in the future. She mentioned that during the recent years, America and India have signed various agreements in energy, Science and Technology, protection of environment and various other sectors. In addition to these, they have entered into agreements relating to security, regional cooperation, public health and research fields. America has always helped India treating it as its friend in international forums. America had started healthcare programme and both the governments have signed an agreement in 2012 for its extension for a further period of five years. This programme covers T.B., H.I.V. and other contagious diseases in addition to Malaria and Dengue fever eradication programmes.

Ms. Catherine Dhanani was addressing a seminar organized by Federation of AP. Chamber of Commerce and Industries. Senior Business Advisor, Radhakishore Pandurang told that American Visa System has now been made simpler.

President of FAPCCPI, Mr. Devender Surana, Vice Consul Mr. Elwyn Chawhan, Public Relations’ Officer, Mr. Carlor Beneni, Acting Consul Chief Manu Jain, Mr. Shyam Sunder, International Business Committee Chairman Mr. M.V. Rajeshwara Rao, General Secretary, FAPCCI were also present at the seminar.
