Poser To Babu–Why Not BC CM For Seemandhra?

The CPM state Secretary B V Raghavulu has questioned the TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu as to why he was not in favour of making a BC as Chief Minister of Seemandhra, while he was trumpeting about making a BC the Chief Minister of Telangana State.

The CPM leader participated in a road show here, as part of the party’s election campaign in support of its candidate. Raghavulu said that Chandrababu was quite aware that the TDP stands no chance of coming to power in Telangana, and hence he was boasting of making a BC as CM of the State. If Naidu has love for B Cs really, he should make a B C as chief Minister of Seemandhra, he added.

Taking a dig at the Congress, he said that the TPCC president Dr Ponnala Lakshmiah who is representing the Jangaon constituency, has not done anything for the area. He asked Ponnala why he could not get National status for Pranahitha-Chevella project, while getting the same for Rs.40,000 crore Polavaram project.

Stating that the credit for armed struggle in Jangaon region went to the Communists, Raghavulu appealed to the electorate to vote for CPM assembly candidate A Mallareddy and M P candidate Seetharamulu, who would be always available to them. (NSS)
