Popular Front Demands Arrest of RSS Leaders

Bhopal, January 10 (Pervez Bari): Popular Front of India, (PFI), chairman E.M. Abdul Rahiman has urged the investigating agencies to expose and bring to book all the top leaders of RSS which is the power house of terrorism in India, in the light of the revelations contained in the confession statement of Swami Aseemananda.

A Press release issued by Media secretary of PFI said the confession statement is proof enough for the role of RSS central leadership in the recent incidents of terror such has Malegaon, Makkah Masjid (Hyderabad), Ajmer shrine and Samjhauta Express. It is shocking that the RSS central leadership has constituted a core group to carry out blasts across the country and entrusted the task of executing the same to its National Committee member Indresh Kumar. But surprisingly the investigating agencies have not yet arrested him or they are not even willing to expose other RSS leaders involved in this anti-national terror conspiracy, the release added.

According to the release Abdul Rahiman has sought the intervention of Central Government in initiating a thorough probe into all the blast cases after 1992 to ascertain the RSS role. He said that Popular Front has been repeatedly demanding the same for the last few years.

It is also a disturbing fact that in spite of the current revelations, the innocent Muslim youths who were falsely implicated in terror cases are either not released from jail or their cases are still not withdrawn.

Popular Front chairman also pointed out that instead of targeting the innocent Muslim youths, if the police had taken immediate actions on the real culprits of blast cases, the country would have been saved from the serial acts of terror that claimed hundreds of lives. He also demanded a thorough watch on RSS “Shakhas” and their programmes from bottom to top throughout the country in the best interest of the society and nation, the release said. (pervezbari@eth.net)
