Special Officer Waqf Board Shaikh Mohammed Iqbal IPS said that he will galvanize district collectors into action for elimination of illegal occupation and protection of Waqf properties. He told that until the government does not take serious measures illegal occupants would not relinquish.
Addressing the press conference Shaikh Mohammed Iqbal said that the work in connection with the protection of Waqf properties remained affected for the past two months due to poll activities as all the district collectors and SPs were busy in poll affairs.
Shaikh Mohammed Iqbal informed that investigations against caretaker Dargah Hazrat Yousufain Nampally Faisal Ali Shah have been completed and the charges of irregularities against him proved true.
He said that he is in favour of spending Waqf revenue according to Mansha-e-Waqf hence he wants the benefit of Waqf revenue to reach poor Muslims.
