Ponnam terms Modi as ‘Betrayer’, Failure to Fulfill Promises

Former MP Ponnam Prabhakar has alleged that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi will remain as a ‘betrayer’ by not fulfilling the assurances made by him in the last four years.

Speaking to the media here on Saturday, Ponnam said that the people were facing lot of troubles due to the demonetisation of big currency notes and GST. Pointing out that the prices of petrol and diesel were not decreasing though the crude oil prices were falling down, Ponnam asked Modi to tell as to what he was doing as the Pakistan soldiers were killing the Indian people by crossing the boarders.

He said that the Modi Government failed in extending help to farmers and wondered whether Modi was the Prime Minister or an ambassador. The Prime Minister was spending lot of money on his dresses, he lamented.

Targeting Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Ponnam said that he was getting a feeling of seeing Tuglaq whenever he saw KCR. KCR created differences among employees by creating zones, he said and alleged that the employees unions’ leaders have transformed as sycophants of the state government. He opined that the government would have taken the decision on zones only after discussing will all unions. He said that the Congress party would take the zones issue to the notice of president of the nation. (NSS)
