Former Congress MP Ponnam Prabhakar has alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was behaving irresponsibly with regard to employees’ postings and promotions.
Finding fault with the KCR’s attitude with regard to extension of the term of the Kamalanathan Committee till March 31, 2016, Ponnam alleged that the Chief Minister was least bothered about the problems being faced by the Telangana employees. He also accused the Chief Minister of not providing required details to the Kamalanathan Committee and never questioned the Committee’s delaying tactics.
Stating that the employees were not sycophants of the politicians and political parties, Ponnam said the employees should not forget the fact that they were protectors of the State Exchequer. He also appealed to the employees to play a transparent role in the development of Telangana. (NSS)
