Karimnagar Congress MP Ponnam Prabhakar today lambasted actor and Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan for needlessly targeting the Congress and supporting the BJP in the run up to the elections.
Talking to mediapersons on Friday, Ponnam excoriated Pawan Kalyan for blaming the Congress in the name of corruption. He asked Pawan to prove his honesty by making public the amount of money being paid to the government towards tax. He also alleged that Pawan has no moral right to blame any party. Lashing out at Pawan for blaming the Congress for corruption and promising corruption-free society, Ponnam sought to know whether Pawan Kalyan paid white money while taking divorce from his first wife.
Prabhakar also wondered as to why Pawan Kalyan failed to react or create ripples when slain TDP leader Paritala Ravindra got his head tonsured. “What happened to your guts and voice when such a shameful incident took place?”, he asked. The MP also took serious exception to the actor for failing to announce his agenda while announcing a political party. It is not that easy to be in politics without an agenda as it is not just like acting. (NSS)
