Congress leader and former MP Ponnam Prabhakar has demanded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi release a white paper on the status of extending help to the Telangana State.
Speaking to the media here on Saturday at Gandhi Bhavan, Ponnam said Prime Minister Narendra Modi did nothing to the Telangana State except making a hungama. He asked the Prime Minister to ponder over his assurances to the people and asked Modi, who assured on developing villages, to tell as to what he has done to the villages till date. He also questioned Modi to tell as to why he was not speaking in the Parliament on demonetisation of big notes. He alleged that Modi did nothing to two Telugu states till date and said that Modi was on sabbatical time and again where farmers were suffering a lot. Modi was disposing the constitutional bodies while making the Ministers as puppets. “Modi is killing the democracy”, he alleged. (NSS)
