Karimnagar MP Ponnam Prabhakar has demanded that the State government grant permission to the Telangana Political JAC sponsored ‘Telangana March’ on September 30.
Speaking to the media at Dr K Keshava Rao’s residence after the MPs’ meeting here on Thursday, Ponnam said that it would be dishonor to the State government if it failed to accord permission to the March even though the mnisters from Telangana region requested the Chief Minister to do so. He also alleged that there was no clarity in TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu’s letter to the Prime Minister on the Telangana issue. He said that he was taking Chandrababu’s letter in a positive manner and expecting a favorable decision in the all-party meeting. He also said that the Telangana MPs will demand that the Centre convene an all-party meet immediately.
Dr Keshava Rao said that consensus on any issue would never be possible in the world. (NSS)
