Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president Ponnala Lakshmaiah on Saturday called on AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh to finalise the candidates for the ensuing Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
The Congress party is likely to announce the first list with 96 candidates, followed by another list with 23 candidates on Sunday. The Congress High Command has reportedly given preference to the candidates who have the maximum chances of winning the elections. Several stalwarts are likely to figure in the list. (INN)
