TPCC president Ponnala Laxmaiah today supported the demand for passing of the proposed ‘Rights of Persons with Disabilities Bill, 2014’ in the ensuing Parliament budget session.
Ponnala has signed the first signature on the targeted one crore signature camp launched by All India Disabled Rights Forum (AIDRF) along with Hellen Keller Regional Association of Disabled (HKRAD) on Thursday, when the president of AIDRF Kolli Nageswara Rao met him on Thursday at Gandhi Bhavan. They launched the signature campaign in the State as part of its target to reach all over the country to bring pressure on Union government. (NSS)
