Ponnala condemns KCR for not skipping PV’s anniversary

TPCC former president Ponnala Lakshmaiah has strongly condemned Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for not attending the official ceremony of 94th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister P.V.Narasimha Rao.

Speaking to media persons after paying tributes to Narasimha Rao at PV Ghat here on Sunday, Ponnala asked whether KCR has no time to participate in the birth anniversary celebration of a leader whom he himself described as the Great Son of Telangana. He said it was highly regrettable that KCR skipped the birth anniversary of late Narasimha Rao, which was held for the first time after formation of Telangana State. He reminded that KCR had announced to name one district and a university after PV Narasimha Rao besides installing a statue at Tank Bund.

Ponnala said KCR’s absence in the event shows the hollowness of his love towards the former Prime Minister. (INN)
