Congress MLC in Telangana Legislative Council Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, who is also a member of the House Committee to Inquire into the irregularities of Co-operative Housing Societies, urged Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao to order a CBCID probe into the allegations made against N. Kiranmayee, Additional Registrar, Commissioner for Cooperation and Registrar of Co-op Societies of State government.
Ponguleti, in a letter to Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, a copy of which was released to the today, stated the Telangana Udyogula Samakhya had stated that N. Kiranmayee is a sincere officer working in the department. The MLC said the government recently ordered a departmental inquiry against N. Kiranmayee.
The MLC said the officer conducted a thorough and impartial inquiry on the alleged irregularities took place in Film Nagar Cooperative Housing Society and submitted a report to the State government. Annoyed by this act of Kiranmayee, some members of Film Society, in connivance with some latent and vested elements, made false and fictitious allegations against her to the government with a view to tarnish her career, the Congress leader added. He stated the objective behind of all this was crystal clear that the officer unearthed many illegal activities and dubious methods adopted by the Film Nagar Society and recommended suitable action in her report.
