Taking serious note of the remarks of Minor Irrigation Minister T G Venkatesh against IAS officials, AICC Secretary Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy said that he would certainly bring the matter to the notice of Congress High Command appealing action against the minister.
Talking to media persons in the Assembly premises here on Monday, Sudhakar Reddy said that it was not proper for the person of a dignified post to make such harsh comments. Due to his irresponsible remarks, the State Government is bearing the brunt, he said. Instead of accepting his mistake, the minister has standby his statement which has been creating problems for the government, he said.
Sudhakar Reddy said that he would also appeal to Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy to serious note of the minister’s remark and decide whether he should be allowed to continue in the cabinet or not. It is due to such leaders that the entire cabinet was facing the problems. So many people are striving hard to bring good name for the party but due to such leaders all the efforts of the leaders have became futile, he said.
Condemning the remarks of TDP and CPI leaders against Indramma Bata programme launched by the government, AICC Secretary advised them to refrain from such remarks in future. He said that the Chief Minister has launched the program with a view to reach to the people and solve their problems. (INN)
