Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy today expressed concern over Medak Rail-Bus accident that killed school children.
Talking to mediapersons at CLP here on Friday, Ponguleti alleged that the Centre failed to give adequate ex gratia to the families of the deceased while the State Government has announced Rs 10 lakh per each family. The Railways is negligent on erecting gates at level crossings leading to such fatal accidents, he alleged. The Centre has failed to allot adequate funds to the Telangana State, he criticized.
He also found fault with the Centre for being negligent towards the 29th State with regard to addressing its needs. Sudhakar Reddy was critical of Telangana and AP Governments for not addressing the fees reimbursement and nativity issues. He alleged that AP Chief Minister N Chnadrababu Naidu was only making a fuss over nothing and deceiving the people on crop loan waiver. Naidu should keep his promise without changing words in fulfilling the promises made, he said.
He also accused Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao of failing to keep his promises. While KCR is spending time by holding frequent reviews, his AP counterpart was not focusing on new capital and instead touring the districts, he alleged.
