Ponguleti blasts TRS Govt on it’s failures

Extending Dasara festival greetings to the people of the state, Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy asked Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to give an explanation on the progress of new districts, which were established exactly a year ago. He said that he will address a letter to CLP leader K Jana Reddy to convene CLP meeting to discuss the conditions prevailing  in the state.

Speaking to the media at Assembly Media Hall here on Friday, Ponguleti alleged that there were no basic amenities in new districts and asked KCR to introspect on the assurances given to the people. He stated that the TRS government achieved  progress in  handcuffing farmers, land scams, applying third degree methods  on daliths, atrocities on IAS officers and political pressures on other parties’ leaders. The Chief Minister was keeping the state in an inebriated condition with liquor flow, drugs flow and gutka. “Is it Bangaru Telangana”, he asked and lamented that the police have  not yet  filed a case against the TRS leaders, who attacked municipal commissioner of Illendu.  Demanding the Chief Minister to control TRS party leaders, Ponguleti said that the AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi accorded Telangana state and  KCR  is behaving as he wished.

Alleging that the ruling TRS party was violating the rules in Singareni elections, Legislative Council deputy leader has said that the ruling party was distributing liquor, money indiscriminately. “The TRS party will face dishonour in the Singareni elections though it is distributing liquor and money to the Singareni workers”, he pointed out. The Chief Minister’s review meeting on Singareni elections every day shows as to how much power misuse was taking place, he stated and asked TRS leaders to come forward for an open debate on the sincerity of political parties on dependent jobs in Singareni. He said that the strength of political parties will be known clearly if elections were conducted by not misusing power.

Demanding the state government to initiate action to run the liquor shops, who have got permission through tenders as per excise act, the  MLC said that the excise officials were extending cooperation to the liquor syndicate.
