Ponguleti asks party to take steps to stop desertion of MLAs

Hyderabad: Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy here on Thursday alleged that the State Congress leadership had miserably failed to stop exodus of party MLAs to the ruling party in the State. He stressed the need for the State party leaders to introspect and take necessary steps otherwise the party would pay a heavy price.

Addressing the media here on Thursday, Sudhakar Reddy alleged that some leaders of the party were causing harm to it as they have their own agendas. He said he had already brought the issue to the notice of AICC leaders. He urged the State party leaders to give respect to the party workers and instill confidence in them. He claimed that he also faced several unsavory incidents in the party.
