Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy has condemned the Telangana State Public Service Commission’s decision to change the syllabus of Groups.
Talking to mediapersons at Assembly media point on Friday, Ponguleti asked the TSTSC to refrain from changing the syllabus of Groups examinations and its pattern for benefit of the students, who prepared very well to achieve a government job by spending huge amount and a year’s time. If the Commission wanted to change the syllabus, then it should give at least two years’ time to understand the new syllabus and in the meantime proceed with the existing pattern. Otherwise, the students would face severe problems. He also urged Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to issue fresh notifications for filling of vacant posts in the State government before the restless students contemplate another agitation.
The Congress MLC further demanded that the KCR government take steps to resolve the ongoing row over Eamcet at the earliest so that the students could attend other CET examinations all over the country. He also dubbed Telangana Assembly Speaker as inefficient in taking decisions with regard to the defected MLAs, including minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav. (NSS)
