The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) on Thursday expressed grave concern over reports of Indian youths getting inspired by terrorist outfits like the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
“This is not a good trend. If any people, young boys or girls belonging to any community or state within India believe in terror as course for solving their problems, I think they are sadly mistaken because terror by itself is a serious problem,” NCP leader Majeed Memon told ANI here.
BJP leader Nalin Kohli echoing similar sentiments on the issue said one must wait for the probe by the investigating agencies.
“Let us see what the investigative agencies come up with. If there is truth in it, it would be a matter of concern. These are fringe elements; they don’t reflect the true secular fabric of this country,” he said.
