Former CPI national general secretary A B Bardhan has opined that political leaders were the reason for rampant corruption in the country.
Speaking at Chandra Rajeshwar Rao’s 17th death anniversary program held at CR Foundation located at Kondapur here on Thursday, Bardhan said that development in all sectors was affected due to corruption in the society.
The newly elected CPI national general secretary Suravaram Sudhakara Reddy, CPI State secretary Dr K Narayana and several other leaders participated in the program. Speaking on the occasion, they recalled that Rajeshwar Rao had saved the party when it was in great crisis by taking dare decisions. (NSS)
