Delhi Police have arrested two people for allegedly cheating public by impersonating as policemen. With the arrest of Mangal alias Sanjay and Manoj of Loni in UP, the city police worked out a case of cheating, a police statement said here.
On July 4, a call was received regarding cheating by two ‘police persons’.
During interrogation it was revealed that Mangal and his associate cheated the innocent people by impersonating as police personnel. Mangal used to wear the uniform and titles of a Sub-Inspector of Delhi Police and his associate Manoj of a constable.
